As a restaurant owner, you probably have a basic understanding of what a restaurant insurance policy covers. Medical payment coverage may help you keep loss costs lower, which can save you on the premium of your future policies.  Helping prevent a larger claim can go a long way when it comes to renewing your policy.  Most companies will raise rates when you have experienced a large claim while others may choose to non-renew you altogether!  Looking for a new company at that point could become a potential headache.  The coverage itself is on the inexpensive side and if you currently do not have it, you may want to consider adding it to your policy.
